Steady Mill
The party arrive to the town of steady mill and find that the villagers have formed a mob at the town square. When the party get a closer look they see the mayor of the town trying to calm the villagers down but they get even more angry. When one villagers says they should riot the party try to stop this and ask a villager why their angry. The villager explains that goblins have been stealing their crops and people and the mayor has yet to do anything. When the party hears this they go to the mayor to help him and the villagers, The mayor explains where the goblins are and he also explains that he has no money because he has had to repay the villagers for their losses. The party agrees to help even with the lackluster pay and they head for the goblins.
The party have to camp out the first night and they decide to sleep but while they were sleeping a bear came and stole their rations. The party try to slay the beast before it attacks them and the bear runs away after receiving heavy injuries. The party sleep for the remaining day and continue on after waking up, while they are traveling a tree falls in front of them blocking their way and they are suddenly ambushed by goblins. the party manage to defeat many but one manages to escape. The party soon arrives to the goblins hideout and they see guards standing outside the entrance which the party soon eliminate but one of the goblins they kill transfer into another goblins body and it runs into the hideout. The party give chase and they corner the goblin and he says “you think you have me cornered don’t you” and as he says that goblins swarm the party and attack them. The party kill waves of goblins and as they finally get to the goblin that has been escaping their blades he pulls out a dagger and slits his throat, and while the party is wondering why the goblin did this they here goblins in another room chanting like their about to go on a raid. The party decide to setup a ambush outside the cave and wait for the goblins to pass through. Just as planned the goblins leave the cave without knowing the party is hiding and the party gets the jump on the goblins and start to fight them. The goblin that has been escaping the party’s grasp this entire time turned out to be the goblin king and he has transferred into the body of a Booyagh which allows the goblin king to cast spells. The party barely manage to defeat the band of goblins and Stitches thinking quick knocks out the goblin king with is eldritch blast. The party decides to bring the goblin king with them and they start their journey back to steady mill. With no rations because of the bear that stole them the party decides to cook a stew using ingredients from the forest and Oscar unties one of the goblins arms to let him eat some of the stew. The party go to sleep and when they wake up they find the goblin is gone and he left a note which says “I’ve gone to the gate suckers” the party are unable to understand the notes meaning and continue to the town. When the party gets there they find that the mayor is no longer the mayor and he has lost everything unable to repay the party he tells them that the military are trying to hire adventurers but he doesn’t know why. The party head for the nearest town hoping to find something.
Juniper Point
The party is close to the gate of the town and while they are walking to the entrance of this village the party spots a sword stuck in a rock and the sword is radiating a strong sense of magic. When the party walks up to the sword there is something carved into the rock and it states “the strength of many men becomes the strength of one man” the adventurers attempt to pull the sword one by one and after they all attempted stitches comes upon the idea that they should all try to pull the sword together which works and the sword is successfully pulled out. When the sword is pulled out pink glittering powder comes out of the sword and the party notice that their surroundings are starting to seem bigger and they eventually realize they have shrunken. While the party are trying to figure out what happened they here giggling in a bush and when they inspect it they find a pixie laughing uncontrollably. Lucifer convinces the pixie to stop laughing and tell them how to turn back to normal but unfortunately the pixie has no clue she tells them she didn’t think that far but she says that their villages sage will probably know a way. The party heads to the village and they find the sage and the sage tells the party he will need a flower that resides in a burrow and he will make a potion when they bring him the flower back. The party head towards the burrow and they see a beetle which they try to walk past but it stops them and while the party is nervous about what the beetle will do it asks them where are they heading. The party is caught by surprise by the beetle talking but they answer it anyway and they ask the beetle for help and it agrees so they hop on the beetle and they continue on. The party is yet again spots another creature but this time it might pose more of a challenge, they see a praying mantis. Oscar decides to talk to the mantis and explains where their heading and ask the mantis if they can pass the mantis agrees but he will not travel with them as it is afraid of the creatures that reside in that burrow. The party approach the burrow and the beetle tells them that this is where it stops and it leaves the party.
The party enter the burrow and they can see tunnels go up and down and they eventually come upon the residents of this burrow and they find that ants live here. The party decides to approach the ants and when they do the ants ask them why they are here. The party attempt to deceive the ants and convince them that they are there to help protect the queen which they eventually do after a lot of convincing. The ants escort them to the queens chamber and the party finds that the queen is using the flower as a throne. The party explains to the queen that there is an enemy that is after the flower and they must move it to the surface to trick the enemy and to protect the queen. The queen agrees and the ants bring the flower to the surface and the party tricks the ants into hiding and they can only leave when the party gives the signal which the party decided was a pheromone they release as the party didn’t think they would actually need the ants to come out of hiding.. The ants agree and they hide and while they are hiding a giant anteater starts to charge the party which forces the party to abandon the flower and start running. After running Lucifer tries to call the ants but they don’t come out which lucifer realizes they will only come out if there is a pheromone released, Oscar then thinking desperately remembers his bag of tricks which he received from the druid in trout creek hollow and he summons a giant badger to save them unfortunately since the bag has shrunken, the badger ripped the bag destroying it in the process. The summoned giant badger kills the anteater with ease and the party rides the giant badger back to town with the flower. The party gets back to the village only to find the village getting raided by some sprites and that the pixies are being put into cages. The party decides to split up and save the villagers from each cage Lucifer goes to the cage with old people in it, Oscar goes to the cage with young people in it, and Stitches goes to the cage with women in it. Lucifer and Oscar try to defeat the sprites and Stitches tries to do the same but his magic missed the sprites and he ends up killing half of the women in the cage. Lucifer and Stitches seeing they cant do save the pixies alone they decide to prioritize the children and they regroup with Oscar. Stitches aims for the cage lock and after a few attempts they manage to get the lock open but the sprites kill many of the children as they try to run away and only one child manages to escape. The sprites escape with the prisoners and the village has no one left and the party heads for the sages hut. Lucifer decides to make the potion himself and he manages to make perfume out of the flower and he hastily sprays it on himself making him rapidly return to his original size. He then sprays his companions but the perfume bottle turned big with Lucifer so it almost kills Oscar almost drowning him but Stitches was unharmed as he doesn’t have the need to breath. Lucifer has to perform CPR on Oscar who is currently drowning and manages to save him. Now that they are back to normal Lucifer finds the sprite village and picks up the cages and flattens the sprites village and returns to the pixies village which is also flattened since the party returned to their normal size there and Lucifer frees the pixies. They give their thanks though the party cant understand them and they bless the party with a charm which will allow the party to cast fly once. The party bids them farewell and they head towards juniper point once again.
The party arrives to juniper point and they travel around the village shopping and talking to the locals and while exploring the town Lucifer finds a poster detailing where the military want adventurers to go to get the job of defeating the collector. After the party is done exploring the town they go to the inn to rest Lucifer heads to bed right away but Oscar and Stitches find that the inn has a gambling room, after they pay the silver entrance fee they enter and they start to gamble and they gamble all night and in that time Oscar loses all of his silver but Lucifer wakes up and he sees his friends in the gambling room and he decides to enter. Now the whole party is gambling and they are having a great time but then they get cocky after a few wins and they bet all in which results in them losing all of their money in the process. Now that their down and out they decide to go and apply for the job the military is giving out even though they know it will be very dangerous. When the party arrives to the military camp they find the boss and they find out there are three spots left but they Stitches manages to convince him to open up one more spot so that Cain can join in on the mission.
